Hi,

Before running the tool you must ensure that there is space to gain (look 
for event 1221 in the application log).

When users delete something from their mailboxes it will sit in the
dumpster 
till the mail item retention expires and till the online maintenance har 
removed the data. After this you should be able to gain space.
