Hello
we transfer content from our authoring server to the live web server,
using
scripts developed by a third party. The script appears to do 2 tasks:-
firstly, it calls a third party resource ex****ter dll. There's a comment
saying "to create a posting linking to resources to make sure these are
included in the incremental ex****t".
Secondly the cmsDeployServer.cmsdeployex****t.1 is used to perform the
ex****t. Even though I didn't write this script (which has been
operational
for several years now), it looks fairly standard in comparison to other
scripts I've seen on the net.
The problem is pdf files aren't always uploaded to the live server. It
appears that if there is a link to the pdf do***ent within the main
section
of the page it's fine.
However, if the pdf do***ent is included in a download control (user
control
within the cms template) then the pdf does not appear on the live site.
Now that I’ve discovered you can unzip sdo files, I can confirm that
when
this problem occurs, the issue is that the pdf is not being ex****ted.
The download control was written by the same third party, who developed
the
scripts.
Currently the administrative user is manually ex****ting/im****ting these
files when the problem occurs, but has requested a solution.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
