I inherited sup****t of a CMS 2001 site and am now getting my feet
wetter and wetter with CMS 2002. Regarding Rights Groups and rights:
In 2001, when I add a child channel to a parent for which a Subscriber
rights group has rights, the child doesn't seem to inherit the rights
and consequently, Subscribers can't get to the new child channel.
In 2002, I am getting the desired behavior. If my subscriber group has
rights to the parent, it has rights to all subsequently-created
children.
Is this a feature or fix applied to 2002? Or, does an initial selection
of "propagate rights to children" facilitate the ongoing inheritance?
