"CMS setup was unable to authenticate the user"

Re: MCMS 2002, Woodgrove, Installing Microsoft Content Management
Server Sample Data (ASP)
System: XP Pro, VS.NET 2003, SQL Server 2000

I've seen a couple of posts regarding this, but none have helped. I'm
trying to install the sample site (woodgrove). I've passed the
pre-requisite check list. And I get to the Sample Data Im****t User
Information. I enter the MCMS_Sys account information that I created
for this example.

The other suggestions for fixing this have included (that I've tried):

Modifying the Admin Tools > Local Security Settings > Local Policies >
Security Options

Change: Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts
To: Classic - local users authenticate as themselves

This did not fix the problem.

Any ideas? Thank you.
