Hello all:
I have a BizTalk 2004 setup where SQL server is installed on a
separate cluster and we are using domain groups and service accounts
for authetication purposes. This setup has been running applications
just fine untill I un-installed one application and install the other
one. As part of this process, I have created an Isolated host which
shares the same group and service account id as another isolated host
already existing in the BizTalk group. The problem is that, when I
try
to create an isntace of the isolated host on a server, after entering
the credentials and saying OK, I get the following error:
Couldn't create SQL login or update SQL roles for BizTalk Host
Windows
group "<Domain_Name>\<BizTalk Isolated Host Users Group" to access
the
MessageBox server "<Server_Name>\BizTalkMsgBoxDb".
The group '<Domain_Name>\<BizTalk Isolated Host Users Group' already
exists in the current database.
Even to make thing more weird, when I try to delete the an isolated
host, I get an error that no such group ("<Domain_Name>\<BizTalk
Isolated Host Users Group) exists whereas in the earlier error it
complains that the group already exists.
I am a lot baffled and puzzled. I have looked at various permissions,
SQL server logs and stuff and there is nothing which can give me a
clue. I will appreicate any help.
Thanks
Inam.
