Hipaa Adapter Vs. Hipaa Pipeline

by =?Utf-8?B?U2FpYm90?= <Saibot@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 29, 2006 at 06:32 PM

For processing X12 files, we worked only with Pipeline processing. We don't

have a good idea about the HIPAA Adapter processing. Now we have to
develop
some of the X12 processes (both inbound and outbound) using HIPAA Adapter.
I
just want to know the pros and cons of HIPAA Adapter processing before
starting the development.

1. How Non compliance and Partial compliance are handled with HIPAA
Adapter.
Ideally we are looking for automatic notification whenever the hipaa
compliance failed. (With Pipeline, we can achieve this with a custom
component)

2. Can we process different inbound files from different trade partners
but
with same interchange control id?

Are there are any performance difference between Pipeline processing and
Adapter processing? Please share your experience and your issues with both

the processing methods.

Thanks for your help.
