Yes i agree to the fact that it fixes some other issues as well (Ex. 834

Segment Issue). But i have done all the listed steps still i'm getting the
997 in XML format.
I must here add that we are using pipelines to process the EDI files and
not
through the adapters. I heard that this problem will not occur if the
files
are processed through adapters.
Please let me know if you apply this patch and still getting 997 files in
EDI format. Did you also get this patch trhough microsoft privately or did
you download it?
Any clues on microsoft not realsing this fix officially??
