Error in displaying OWA

I have a problem displaying OWA that is very similar to some KB articles in

the way they describe the symptoms:

1..The icons for inbox, contacts, etc. are showing as placeholders -> red
x.
2. In place of email, a "loading" message appears.
3. In Firefox, the list of mail appears but everything else is screwed up 
(not in any KB articles).

This behavior is consistent from within and outside of the local LAN. 
Smart 
phones are synching with mail, so it is not a certificate issue I don't
think.

I have tried all of the things in the KB articles, but they seem to relate

almost entirely to ISA 2000 and Web Proxy 2.0. not SBS 2003/ISA 2004.

Some additional information.  Running Trend Micro 6.2 ScanMail, but also 
running same versio on Standard 2003 and Exchange and ISA 2004 or 2006 
without this problem.  Tried removing and then reinstalling but it made no

difference.
