Upgrading SBS 2003 to Windows 2003 and splitting Exchange

by =?Utf-8?B?SmltQQ==?= <JimA@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 13, 2008 at 09:10 AM

I have a SBS 2003 basic server and I am considering upgrading to a new
blade
server from dell. The server config will probably be 146GB raid 1 drives.
Currently Exchange server 2003 is set for 80Gb and the rest is shared
files,
sbs stuff and a few other sundry items.

I would like to move Exchange onto its own server, but don't kknow if I
can
break it away from SBS?

Should I just move up to a true Windows server 2003 and is there a tried
and
true method of doing this? (like swing)?

I would like to end up with a windows server 2003 domain controller on a
server and exchange on another? Is this feasible?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.
