I work at a non-profit. They have a Dell Server there, running SBS 2003 R2
Standard, with 1-NIC.
The guy who had initially set the server up, is now gone. Anways, he
configured some of the server, and left me with a mess.
I dont know much about RWW. So, I bought the Administartor's Manual, and
am
still stuck.
We have a a high-speed DSL dish connection that comes straight from the
dish, and plugs into the back of a Linksys EtherFast switch/VPN switch.
The Linksys then goes directly into a large 20 or 30 ****t switch, and runs
throughout the building via Cat5, and also to the 1-NIC in the server.
Our ISP has given the Linksys EtherFast Switch/Router a static-ip address.
I
called our ISP a couple of days ago, and they setup a record with DNS, so
that we could type in: https://domain.ISPname.com.
My ISP also has a firewall on their end, and said I need to have them
forward ****ts through their firewall, as well as configure my ****ts on my
end.
I had them configure 4125 TCP.
I opened up ****ts on the Linksys (that has the static IP) to forward to my
local server IP (192.168.1.99).
I just want my clients to be able to use RWW externally.
Do I need my ISP to to forward more ****ts on their firewall?
If so, which ones?
I have forwarded the ****ts on my router, but I dont know how to on the
server end?
When I ipconfig /all, it says that DHCP isnt running?
How do I get RWW to work?
