Transition Pack - Standard or Premium?

by =?Utf-8?B?RGF2aWRH?= <DavidG@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 4, 2008 at 10:18 AM

I'm considering moving from our SBS Premium (SP2) environment to Win2003
Server, and the Transition Pack seems to be the most sensible route.

Though our SBS is the Premium edition, its current use is only file,
print,
and Exchange. Can I therefore use the Standard TP (around $1500) instead
of
the Premium TP (almost $3000)?

If it's of any value, the reason we're considering this move is to provide

server mirroring to an offsite target via DoubleTake. Officially,
DoubleTake
does not sup****t SBS failover. Unofficially, they do, but with cautions
and
conditions that our system does not satisfy.
