I have a windows 2000 server recently installed (last
week) The ServicesManager service will not start and gives
me the message "could not start the SevicesManager service
on Local Computer. The service did not return an error.
This could be an internal Windows error or an internal
service error. If the problem persists, contact your
system administrator"
I have service pack 4 and all updates installed. This
error leaves no record in any of the logs.
Can anyone help with this error?
