Windows 2003 server eror message

by "Ian Allen" <anonymous@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 4, 2004 at 04:48 AM

Hi there - i hope someone can help me.
I keep getting repeated messages in the event viewer
telling me that the DNS server has encountered a critical
error from the active directory, please check that the
A.D. is functioning correctly error id 4015.
This is on a windows 2003 server - one of two, the other
being a windows 2000 server, both running A.D. and DNS.
The other server has no such messages.
The 2003 server (with the errors)is the primary domain
controller.

The microsoft knowledge base advises me to restert the dns
service which i have done but this message persists.
I was wondering i anyone else has had a similar problem
and what did they do in order to fix it.
Everything seems to be working fine apart from this, does
anyone have any pointers or clues as to where i can find
the problem?
Thanks for your time.
