Drop Down not working properly

Hi,

I have a DAP with a couple of drop-down lists.  The first displays the
list 
and selection and can use expand symbol to make second list appear.  The 
problem is with the second list.  If I click the drop down arrow, the list

appears but only for a second.  Can anyone please tell me what is going on

with this?
