Re: PaulD - please help!

At this point I'm somewhat confused at the final result you are going for.
From what I get reading your first post, you have a list box in the top
section, with a list of vendors. Depending which vendor you select from
the
top list, a list of literature will appear below relating to that vendor.
I'm assuming you then want to be able to click on the literature name and
open the appropriate PDF? Is this correct?

You then talk about drop down lists and making the first one drive the
second one. I'm assuming this is a different approach you are trying so
you
would have a drop down list (instead of the list box) with your vendors,
and
depending what vendor is selected, the second drop down list gives you a
list of literature. You then select the literature from that drop down and

the appropriate PDF is opened.

These are two different approaches, which way would you prefer? Or am I
way
off and neither of the above is correct.

Thanks, Paul for replying. Well, I now know why it doesn't work for
more
: than one record. This is so simple to create in a regular Access form,
but
: not in a DAP. I just need a list of vendors, a list of literature for
: selected vendor, and then a record for selected literature. So simple -

but
: so difficult.
:
: I took out the MSODSC.RecordsetDef lines, but it still didn't work and I
: even replaced the subareas with the table name for the first drop down
and
: both times received error - invalid or unqualified reference.
:
: Do you have any other suggestions that I can try to get the end result
I'm
: looking for without having to learn to create a web page as I only need
this
: one?
:
: Thanks again for your time and help.
