problem open a link to MDAC/OLE DB

Hi,
on my win xp SP2 when try to open a link to MDAC/OLE DB explain this error
 
"provider cannot be found. Ensure that the 
provider has been installed properly" and is not possible to open the 
database in refer.
Can you help me
