I have noticed on both of my machines (Dual 1.8 and Quad-Core 2.5, both PPC
and
OSX 10.5.5) that the "point to file" tool in the prop. panel does not
work. I
had seen this in the DW CS4 beta, but wrote it off as a "beta glitch" that
should be resolved upon the final release. It wasn't. I click the button
and
drag towards the file panel, but half way there, the whip begins to mirror
itself in the opposite direction. This happened in the beta, but it would
let
me select the file I wanted. Now, I can't select anything and am forced to
use
the "browse for file" function, taking more time.
I thought that DW might not like dual displays (only 1 display actually
showing the DW app). I unplugged my 2nd display and the problem went away.
Too
bad I need both my displays to easily see Safari/Firefox while I code in
DW or
see a Photoshop mockup.
